STAR Enterprise Depots: There are two Enterprise Depots TTF and FODAC which have a combined 70,810 square feet of warehouse space. These depots manage the dynamics of refurbishment, reuse, and distribution to member organizations, as well as and disposition of non-usable materials. The depots encompass the capability of receiving, warehousing, and aggregating large volumes of donations as well as the operational capability of refurbishing, sanitizing, reusing, or reassigning AT devices, computers, durable medical equipment and home care equipment. This is in such a volume that they have the capability of supplying all members of the STAR Network. The depots train STAR Network members on STAR Network reuse policies, procedures, liability, and sustainability and assist them in matching proper equipment to the consumers. The Enterprise Depots manage statewide data collection, reporting, reuse, AT distribution, large corporate/agency donation pick ups, awareness events, and outreach marketing activities. The depots manage the oversight of all STAR Network activities and perform regular reviews of existing direct service practices to ensure that standards and quality indicators are followed. In addition, the depots create equipment refurbishment opportunities for job skill development, employment, and volunteer positions throughout the network.
